Hi! My name is Ashleigh. Let first start by telling you a little about myself. I am a daughter to two awesome patents who have been married for 30+ years, separated for 3+ years but still living together (random, I know), I am the youngest of 3 brother and 2 sister in laws... We are still taking applications for the Wife position for Matt, I am an Aunt to 7 kids who I would lay down and die for, one of which is my drama filled teenage God Daughter who I have to duct tape her mouth shut on a daily basis (metaphorically speaking of course). Most importantly I am a wife to Chris, he is the love of my life... now. Lets be honest here, its not easy getting pregnant at 22. It could have been worse but I thought 22 was REALLY young at the time. Fortunately God had plans for us and gave us to tools to make a successful life together. I am a mother to 3 crazies... 2 girls and a boy, Amelia and Sloane and Greyson. They are my best accomplishment. My husband and I work FULL time just to get by but we are RICH in all other areas... don't get me wrong I wouldn't mind if we were swimming in a mountain of money (insert visual of Scrooge McDuck and his vault of money) Did I mention that I grew up in the 80's and 90's. HAHA! Hopefully I haven't lost my readers with that one.... not that I have any at the moment. Regardless, I decided to make a blog for myself, not for anyone else, but just for me. If people want to read that's even better. I. AM. AN. OPEN. BOOK. My mom and husband frequently tell me that there is no hiding what I'm feeling, that you don't even have to ask, you can see it on my face. I am starting this blog because I NEED a space to write down my memories, thoughts, and obsessions... My husband can only listen and give good advise for so long, before me driving him crazy. Sorry guys, but us women LOVE to rehash Sh*t! I named this blog Dance Parties and Pixie Dust because that sums up our life almost daily. Singing and dancing and talking with my girls about fairies and wishes. We are a perfect mixture of chores and unicorns, homework and mermaids, and responsibility and Never Never Land. We are a perfect mix of reality and make believe!
